Beloved Adoption Law Branding
I met Alex and Jordan through instagram. What I loved about our first interactions, is that they knew they were starting a business, they knew who their audience was, they had a plan for launching and gaining traction, and they knew they needed a strong brand to get started doing what they were going to do.
When we met for the consultation and they opened up their hearts about friends and family members who have gone through the process of fostering and adopting and about their passion to help families going through the process, I knew I was about to be a small piece in something much bigger.
Alex and Jordan have truly amazing hearts and have a fire within them for helping kids and assisting the families who want to give them homes. They are also the two most personable ladies out there and work so well as partners.
Since they were going to be working in the law field, they wanted to be set apart from the competition and appear younger, but also wanted to look trustworthy, professional and approachable.
With the mission of: "Providing a joyful adoption experience for beloved children of God", we decided to pick a color palette and font that would allow us enough structure and professionalism so that we could get creative with the submark and illustrative element.
We decided to use more symbolism than go with the general adoption concepts that come to mind. After doing research on flower and herb symbolism, Oregano struck a cord. The herb in Greek means joy of the mountains and is a symbol of joy and happiness. We knew that this would be a great element to use throughout their branding.
