Heart & Hope Photography is a documentary family photography company based in Oklahoma that serves families that want to preserve their everyday memories and stories. Audrey, a editorial and documentary photographer by trade created Heart and Hope with a purpose of honoring and investing in a family’s story and heritage so that they can live on through the next generations.

After the research and discovery phase, we wanted her branding to have a strong sense that the work was worth investing in while also feeling classic, warm, natural and well-loved.

H&H’s keywords were “high quality, authentic, nostalgic, heritage, family oriented/legacy, warm and creative” which put it in the Autumn seasonal personality. With that we create a custom serif font and a submark that was symmetrical, authentic and had the look of a stamp or wood carving.

From the moment I first explained my business and the way it’s different from the services other photographers provide, Hayley was all in. She understood my value proposition, she understood my guiding principles, she really GOT what I’m trying to achieve and why. All of that understanding found its way to the elements of my brand.

Nothing is wasted, nothing is superfluous. Working through this branding project with her distilled my business into a set of core beliefs that are, through some kind of special Hayley magic, all present in my branding.
