Coastal Connections Marketing Rebrand

I met Caroline through a mutual friend back before Christmas, and we connected so easily. Caroline is not only the absolute sweetest, personable person, but she is a professional business woman. She is clear about what her goals are, is efficient and timely, and just from talking to her for a short time you can tell that she cares deeply about what she is doing and who she is serving.

Having taken over as president of Coastal Connection Marketing, a promotional product company in North Carolina, and celebrating their 15th year in business, Caroline and her team had been evaluating the way they serve their clients. They had implemented a new online catalog and had recognized the need for an overhaul of their branding. And that's where I came in.

Caroline and I have been working through my trailblazer package. We started with building the foundations of her brand vision, voice, and mission, then went through the aesthetics of her brand - her logo, submark, pattern, fonts and colors, and then through her stationary pieces. It has been such a joy to work on a complete brand overhaul and be able to help CCM create a consistent brand throughout every aspect of their touch-points with their customers. It's been quite a transformation and I am so excited to share it with you.

After our brand strategy call, and taking her through the discovery questionnaire and seasonal personality, we established that CCM was a winter personality with an undertone of summer. Her keywords were high quality, creative, decisive, centered and attention to detail. Coastal Connections Marketing has a reputation of un-matched customer service, creativity and execution among their clients, and we wanted to brand them as an expert in their field. Another goal was to take their logo and overall look in a more professional, classic way, using bold colors and typography.
