Thankful this Thanksgiving
We are now in the season of rest, recharging, reflecting and planning for a new exciting season that starts with a new year.
I hope that you are taking this time to spend time with the ones that you love, stuff your face with all the green bean casserole - Yum! - and rest from all the hard work and things you've accomplished this past year.
Every year I do a reflection quiz and it really helps me think about the past year and everything that has happened, the good and bad, the celebrations and the challenges. It's called the Recharge Challenge. I found it in 2016, but I can't remember the exact source. (If you recognize it, definitely let me know, because I would love to credit the person who created it!)
1. What accomplishments are you most proud of in 2017?
2. What were your biggest challenges?
3. What unfinished goals or dreams did you have for 2017?
4. What is holding you back from being more profitable, productive and happy in 2018?
5. What are you most excited about for 2018?
When I think back on 2017, I think back on probably the most challenging year of my life so far. We had a lot of heartache and challenges as 2017 began, and as the year progressed, stress, frustration and impatience tore at my heart. Then in July through some very unlikely circumstances, I was jumping head-first into creating a full-time business out of my side-hustle. And although there were bumps along the way, I had such an amazing group of supporters and cheerleaders, who gave me the courage and motivation I needed to keep building.
It's been a crazy year, and through it all I am so thankful to God for this opportunity.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to start and build my own business from scratch. Of the freedom it allows me to have to spend needed quality-time with my family and friends. Of the joy it brings me everyday to do what I love. To serve some wonderful people and get a peek into different industries. To grow my skills on a daily basis.
I am so thankful for my Tuesdays Together Tulsa group, who are a constant source of laughs, motivation and encouragement.
I am so thankful to have worked with such amazing clients this past year, who value my work and skills and are using their passions to positively impact their corners of the world.
To each of my clients who allowed me to come into your business, to step alongside you and help you build a brand that you are proud of and that will fuel your business, thank you from the bottom of my heart! You guys are the real MVP! ( :
From me and mine, I hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
