One Year Looking Back
One year ago today, I woke up feeling like I had never felt before. I was anxious and excited and trying to navigate something completely brand new to me. You see, the day before, my former employer and I had ended our work relationship and I was free from the corporate world with plans of taking this little side hustle that I had been nurturing to a full time career. There were a lot of emotions and things to be figured out, but all in all, I knew it's what God had planned for me. So I trusted that I was were I needed to be.
The morning of July the 7th 2017, I woke up, just hours into entrepreneurship, ate breakfast and started making lists. Lists of my dreams, my goals, to do's and tasks, and lists of my dream clients I would want to work with.
Fast forward to today, July 7th, 2018, I have met and exceeded many of my goals and have worked with so many of my dream clients!! I am so so grateful for the work I get to do and the people I get to serve.
In one year, I have be blessed to work on 19 brands and countless other custom design projects. I've worked with photographers, engineers, wedding venues, artists, lawyers, realtors and chiropractors. And what I love the most is that every client that I've worked with has been just as in love with what they do and how they serve their clients as I have. The cherry on top is that they have been over-the-moon with what we've created together.
I have seen my clients take risks that they had been talking about all through the process, get published in popular magazines, and get completely booked months in advance, all after launching their new brand. That is why I do this work. That is what makes my heart skip a beat and that's what fuels me to take on the next project, knowing that it will help empower and equip them!
